CRC Announces UPS WorldShip Integration
June 24, 2010 - For Immediate Release
CRC Information Systems (CRC), developer of the industry leading MIS/ERP system, Nucleus, proudly announces full integration with UPS WorldShip that streamlines and increases accuracy in company shipping workflows. The new integration pulls existing customer and job data from Nucleus into UPS WorldShip to generate shipping documents and labels while UPS WorldShip returns billing and shipment information to Nucleus without the need to engage in time consuming and error prone double data entry.
Globus Printing and Packaging Inc., a family-owned and operated printer in business for over 50 years located in Minster, Ohio, recently set up the integration between UPS WorldShip and Nucleus with great success. “Before we were able to take advantage of this new feature in Nucleus, we were using a third party application, Kewill ClipperShip, to handle our shipping workflow,” said Kathy Winner, IT Analyst for Globus. “By integrating, we have been able to eliminate our costs associated with using the third party software. Because of the seamless flow of data, we are now able to take advantage of features such as archiving shipment tracking and billing information within the job records.” She added, “With the exceptional support from CRC’s developers, getting our team up and running on the new integrated workflow was easy and virtually seamless.”
As a new standard feature of CRC Nucleus, current users can activate the cost saving option by simply arranging an online training session with a CRC representative. Interested customers should contact Steven Roberts at (480) 443-9494 or send an e-mail to saroberts@crcinfosys.com to arrange online training or to answer additional questions they may have.
